Stop The Saudi Arms Deal

Dear Friend of Liberty
" It doesn’t need to happen.
Last week, notice was given to Congress that new weapons deals that could potentially amount to $300 BILLION dollars or more were in place for Saudi Arabia.
It was treated as a done deal by everyone, especially the media.
Well, they weren’t counting on you and me.
I’ve started my part by introducing a privileged motion in the Senate called a “Resolution of Disapproval” that will FORCE the Senate to vote on this arms deal.
And by law, that vote MUST take place in the next 30 days. They can’t filibuster it, stop it, or otherwise try to hide it.
So I’m asking you to do your part too. First, add your name to my RESOLUTION OF DISAPPOVAL today.
And also while you’re there, help RANDAC spread the word on this important fight.
Sometime in the next 30 days, Congress will be forced to vote on whether or not we should sell arms to a county that:
** Actively bombing Yemen, including civilian population, using our weapons and illegally using our technical assistance.
** From the 28 pages of the 9/11 report and elsewhere, shown to be one of the world’s leading funders of terrorist activity and extremist ideology.
** Has a miserable human rights records. Civil rights, the rights of women in their society – it is all abysmal.
To put is simply – the United States has no business arming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We also have no business getting ourselves even further into the mess that is the civil wars of the Middle East.
So let’s do this together. Let’s stop them.
The resolution I’m using was little known until last year even though it has existed since the 1970s.  I was the first Senator to use it to stop an arms deal, at the time with Pakistan.  Though our vote fell short then, the public outcry you and I raised then actually forced the administration to pull the deal back.
In other words, the last time we did this, we won.
Let’s do it again. Let’s make our voices heard. Voices for peace, for not arming extremism.
You can lend your voice and your support here.
It’s important you help fund this effort by RANDPAC. We have just a matter of days to get the word out. So please help today.

Thank you for all you do."

TAC - Tenth Amendment Center

Tenth Amendment Center | 21 June 2016

Less Democrat, Less Republican. More Constitution.

Tenth Amendment Center, the nation’s leading source for constitutional education and nullification activism. While the establishment left and right continue to expand federal power, our goal is straightforward. The Constitution: Every issue, every time. No exceptions, no excuses.

TAC works towards this goal in two ways: education and activism. We seek to teach people about the original meaning of the Constitution. And, we lead powerful grassroots coalitions to use nullification as a means to block federal overreach.

Audit the FED H.R. 24

Campaign for Liberty's goal is to gather 50,000 Audit the Fed petitions by May 18 to deliver to the U.S. House.

Petition: Campaign for Liberty 50,000 Signatures by May 18

Bill Text: H.R. 24 Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2017

Dear Friend of Liberty,

You saw the outcry last week over the outrageous $1.1 TRILLION spending bill rammed through Congress by Speaker Paul Ryan -- with mostly House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's Democrat votes.

But just imagine how much worse it would be if the U.S. House was able to not just write, but pass the bill in secret. . .

And never had to answer to the American people?

What if every time you and I demanded to know how our tax dollars were spent, we were told to simply "mind our own business?"

In other words, what if Congress was able to operate just like the Federal Reserve?

We have seen the results of allowing the Fed to operate behind closed doors, and it's time for this madness to end -- before it's too late.

If you agree, please sign your "COSPONSOR AUDIT THE FED NOW!" petition to your U.S. Representative IMMEDIATELY.

With your help, Campaign for Liberty's goal is to gather 50,000 Audit the Fed petitions by May 18 to deliver to the U.S. House.

With our U.S. House hearing complete -- and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform's passage of H.R. 24 -- Campaign for Liberty's goal is to recruit as many House cosponsors as possible to generate heat on Speaker Ryan to bring Audit the Fed to the floor for a public, roll-call vote.

The truth is, as bad as Congress’s budget deal was, it's the Federal Reserve that's the true culprit behind our economic problems and the growth of Big Government.

Whether it’s never-ending spending programs driving our country to $20 TRILLION in debt -- or one foreign policy disaster after another -- the Federal Reserve fuels everything you and I HATE about Washington, D.C.

Should my Audit the Fed Bill become law, it would finally show the American people how the Federal Reserve System leads to:

*** Ever-expanding Big Government boondoggles like ObamaCare.  Now that politicians have figured out the Fed will just print money out of thin air to pay the bills if taxing and borrowing can’t make ends meet, the floodgates are wide open for even more of the statists’ utopian plans;

*** Constant economic crises.  The 2008 housing crisis and the resulting chaos is just one example of an economic bubble created by centrally planned interest rates and money manipulation;

*** The destruction of the middle class.  As food, housing, medical care, and education costs soar, everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of their money sinks;

*** Currency destruction.  History shows us that riots, violence, and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize our money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on and REFUSE to accept it.

If you and I truly want to "Drain the Swamp" and kill off the Big Government status quo in Washington, D.C. for good, it all starts with EXPOSING the Federal Reserve.

The good news is, we have a president who's pledged to sign it.

We've forced a hearing -- where Campaign for Liberty President Norm Singleton testified -- and a committee vote in the U.S. House earlier than we ever have. . .

Oversighteandreform  | 23 March 2017

We've already gathered 108 cosponsors.

But we still have to finish the job.

That means PROVING to House leadership that they ignore our momentum on Audit the Fed at their own peril.

That's why it's so critical we reach our goal of 50,000 petitions.

So will you please sign yours right away?

And if possible, will you please agree to a generous contribution as well?

I don't know what you can afford.

Perhaps you can be extra-generous and agree to $500, $250, or $100?

Or, if that's too much, could you agree to $50 or $25?

Even if you can only chip in $10 right now, it will help Campaign for Liberty generate even more heat on Congress, which will mean more cosponsors, and it will put us that much closer to House passage.

So please help us reach our goal by signing your petition and giving as generously as you can at once!

For Liberty,

Ron Paul
Chairman Campaign for Liberty

P.S.  Campaign for Liberty's goal is to gather 50,000 Audit the Fed petitions by May 18 to deliver to the U.S. House.

So will you please sign your petition and agree to your most generous contribution of $500, $250, $100, $50, $25, or even $10 right away?
