Audit The Fed 23,719 Petitions

1 June 2017

Dear Friend of Liberty

"So you did what you were asked and signed a petition.

What happened with it?

Sadly, with some Washington, D.C. organizations, sometimes the answer is “nothing.”

But last Friday -- while most Americans were preparing for the long Memorial Day weekend -- C4L staff was on Capitol Hill delivering the stacks of the 23,719 Audit The Fed Petitions we’ve gathered over the past few weeks for our cosponsor push.

Norm Singleton delivering Audit the Fed
petitionsAs you’ll see here, I started right where I thought I could make the most difference -- House Speaker Paul Ryan’s office!

Thanks to your support, banksters and slick lobbyists are more scared than ever that you and I will finally get the job done on Audit the Fed.

We’ve already been through a House hearing (where I personally testified), and passed Audit the Fed through the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Today, we stand at 110 cosponsors on Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-KY) House Bill (H.R. 24) and 14 on Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) Senate Bill (S. 16).

With your continued support and generosity, Campaign for Liberty is working hard to ensure we keep the pressure on!

I know we’ve asked quite a bit of you lately.  But we have some critical work ahead of us in the coming weeks, so my hope is you’ll agree to a generous contribution of $250, $100, $50, or even $25.

Even if you can only chip in $10 right now, it would help make a big difference.

I know it’s easy to get caught up in legislative minutiae and political tugs-of-war.

But you and I can’t forget what a golden opportunity we have to take a SLEDGEHAMMER to the very foundations of everything we hate about Washington, D.C.

Whether it’s out-of-control spending, ObamaCare, or misguided foreign policy adventurism, the Federal Reserve lies at the root of it all by printing money out of thin air to pay the bills when taxation doesn’t make ends meet.

Exposing the Fed would finally show the American people just how corrupt this secretive institution is and light the fuse for Big Government’s destruction.

That’s why we HAVE to keep fighting.

If we don’t, our country’s days are numbered.

Our (still growing) $19.9 trillion debt will soon drown us all.

That’s why these petition deliveries are just part of our effort to ensure we generate as many House cosponsors as we can.

The closer we get to a majority of the U.S. House, the harder it will be for House Speaker Paul Ryan to stand in the way of a vote.

Of course, if you and I make the pressure hot enough, he may just relent and hand us a vote early.

But as many folks have learned the hard way, hoping for the best only ensures Washington, D.C. does its worst!

So Campaign for Liberty is also planning to run Internet and social media ads to help turn up the pressure on politicians who have supported Audit the Fed in the past, but are refusing to now that they believe it could actually happen.

We won’t be afraid to call them out by name.

And I’m afraid some of those names are going to surprise you.

We’re also going to turn the screws on congressional leadership like House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as well.

With your help, we’re going to let them know that -- especially as hated as they are among the grassroots -- a betrayal on Audit the Fed could be the last nail in their political coffins.

We’re not going to play games.

We’re going to play hardball.

With nearly 80% of the American people in agreement that the Federal Reserve should be audited, we hold all the cards.

Not them.  Not the Big Government elites who seem so intent on destroying the last vestiges of freedom.

Your support is working.

Your help has brought the Audit the Fed issue from the seemingly out-of-nowhere just a decade ago to the verge of reality.

Dr. Paul’s unflinching leadership and commitment to liberty sounded the alarm.

But it’s your continued support that’s needed to keep the pressure on and help us cross the remaining hurdles we face!

So please, if at all possible, agree to your most generous contribution of $500, $250, $100, $50, or $25 today.

Even if all you can do is $10, it would make a tremendous difference.

Thank you for all you do!

In liberty,"

Norm Singleton

"P.S. Our cosponsor push is just the beginning of what we have planned for Congress on Audit the Fed.

I have also planned a massive social media and Internet ad campaign targeting Members of Congress who are refusing to cosponsor Audit the Fed now that they think it might actually pass.

I’m also preparing to turn the screws on congressional leaders.

But I’m counting on your support.  Please, if at all possible, agree to your most generous contribution of $250, $100, $50, $25, or even $10 right away in support of C4L’s plans to pass Audit the Fed!"
