Jay Carney is Wrong, Toughest Obama Interview of 2012

Ben Swann Interviews President Obama | 2012

Jay Carney is Wrong, THIS Was The Toughest Obama Interview of 2012

“Speaking at George Washington University Jay Carney claims that Daily Show host Jon Stewart gave President Obama his toughest interview of 2012.

“I remember we had some discussion during 2012 about well, is it appropriate for the president, the sitting president and candidate, to give interviews with Jon Stewart and others. And the answer was yes, again because the young voters we were trying to reach are more likely to watch The Daily Show than some other news shows. But also, I think if you look back at 2012 and the series of interviews the sitting president of the United States gave, probably the toughest interview he had was with Jon Stewart. Probably the most substantive, challenging interview Barack Obama had in the election year was with the anchor of The Daily Show.” says Carney

What Jay Carney must have forgotten is the most famous interview of 2012 with President Obama didn’t happen in New York City or Washington D.C. but in Toledo, Ohio.

Then Fox 19 anchor Ben Swann was granted a 5 minute one on one interview with the President.

The four questions asked by Swann were ground breaking, and without question the toughest questions President Obama faced not only in 2012 but throughout his entire presidency.

Question 1: Swann also was the first reporter to question the president on his failed promise to veto the NDAA, while using government lawyers to fight an injunction against indefinite detention.

Question 2: Swann was the first reporter in the world to question President Obama directly about the Constitutionality of his so called “kill list” or the execution of U.S. citizen Anwar al Awlaki without due process.

Question 3: Why is the United States covertly funding opposition forces in Syria when reports indicated that many of those forces were actually al Qaeda fighters. At the time, no mainstream media had mentioned al Qaeda in connection with the Syrian civil war.

Question 4: Why is President Obama claiming that the United States will bring home troops from Afghanistan in 2014 when he had just signed an agreement to keep American soldiers in that country until at least 2024.”
