Good Will Hunting - NSA

Video Uploaded by: compelled2283 | Jul 31, 2010

“My favorite scene from Good Will Hunting and pertinent to the principles of liberty in its condemnation of killing people abroad who have done no harm to you personally. Taken to it’s logical conclusion this belief should lead anybody who holds it to a pure libertarian position; though most won’t, of course.”

After watching the short clip above I thought it would be an appropriate time to introduce one of my all time favorite reads below.

WAR IS A RACKET By: ( Two Time) Congressional Medal of Honor Winner Major General - Smedley Butler (USMC Retired 1931)

Excerpt: “WAR Is A Racket - It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" -

group  knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.”
